SEASONS

Dear Struggler, Do you ever wonder why Yeshua chose to come as a child? He could have saved us in a second but He chose to be born as a man and lived life like a man then died like a man. That always made me question his intentions. What did He want to accomplish? What did He intend to show us who believed in Him? Well, I might not have the ‘right’ answers but I can give my two cents, and maybe, just maybe it could lead to something. Like the frost on a rose, Winter comes for us all Oh, how nature acquaints us, With the nature of patience So, like a seed in the snow, I've been buried to grow For Your promise is loyal, From seed to sequoia There’s a sermon in the Bible that talks about faith being like a mustard seed and I was told that a mustard seed is really tiny then I googled it and yes, they are very tiny seeds. Now this seed grows to become a 30-metre long bush and Jesus if you do not know what 30-metres is then it’s equated to 100ft (now imagine 17 (6ft) doors pi...

COVET!

I am seated behind some kids. The two directly in front of me seem to be from a higher standing in society. Their parents are considerably at a better point financially hence they can fund their daughter's desires. Well, it's just cute clothes, lip gloss, and soda. I say this as it is the only clear distinction between the kids. Now, in front of the 'higher standard' girls are two from a lower societal standing. Again this is prejudice from the clothing of the four girls. T he two 'lower standard' girls keep glancing at these girls giggling as they sip their sodas and after a while, they apply gloss. Now, you can clearly see the human desire from the two to want such things but they aren't possible. Well, not possible at the moment. I believe that in the future, not the near future but the future nonetheless, they will also be able to afford such luxuries but I wonder if it will matter then. I believe that they want to have such things right now. But a...

IS JESUS A GOOD REFERENCE?

Image
Lately, I have been questioning most things, and one of the things that has me feeling bad after the thought of it is the question, “Is Jesus a good reference?”. This question is brought about by the wonder of how Jesus dealt with things in the scriptures. Now, I know that Jesus Christ or Yeshua was Man and God. He is 100% man and 100% God. He is both and there is no difference between the two. But when I get born again, I am 100% man and a tug of war between my spirit and flesh starts and hopefully by the time I get to rest in eternal peace I will be 100% Spirit. But Yeshua didn’t have this war… or did He? Did He also struggle like I do but it was not recorded that He did? I think there is a distinguishable difference between me and Jesus which is I am a Son of God by belief while He was and is a Son by birth and also, He is God. This fact makes me think that I can never handle sin or temptation like He did. Well, one can argue that He did send the Holy Spirit but I also think...

MY GENESIS

Image
I am in church and the song playing is; I   am more, More than a conqueror, Through Christ My Lord... And I wonder if I really am a conqueror? What have I conquered really? I still have my lost battles, I still struggle with most wars and here I am singing that I am a conqueror. Is this a make-believe song, sing it to  existence type of situation or rather a manifestation song? And people are shouting and saying Amen and believing in others testimonies as their own.   Being a believer is weird really. How many of these men actually believe this song? How many of them have conquered any of their battles or have they like me heard of men who won their wars but don't know how many battles they lost so they walk around in blind faith not knowing the cost they have to pay in order to win a war and declare ourselves conquerors through Christ our Lord. But hey, they believe the song or some do and maybe they will influence more of them to believe the lyrics to ...
