MY GENESIS


I am in church and the song playing is;

I am more,
More than a conqueror,
Through Christ My Lord...

And I wonder if I really am a conqueror? What have I conquered really? I still have my lost battles, I still struggle with most wars and here I am singing that I am a conqueror.
Is this a make-believe song, sing it to  existence type of situation or rather a manifestation song? And people are shouting and saying Amen and believing in others testimonies as their own.

 
Being a believer is weird really. How many of these men actually believe this song? How many of them have conquered any of their battles or have they like me heard of men who won their wars but don't know how many battles they lost so they walk around in blind faith not knowing the cost they have to pay in order to win a war and declare ourselves conquerors through Christ our Lord.
But hey, they believe the song or some do and maybe they will influence more of them to believe the lyrics to this wonderful song.

This is the beginning of my journey, well in my journey to try and navigate this cycle of belief called faith brought to you by God or rather by the Word which seems more like a text of God and the understanding of men.

 
I've been reading or rather studying the word and I'll tell you it's a fascinating manual or book or whatever it is you believe it to be but I am set to try and understand it, get some answers from it, get to make my own judgement and walk this journey of men and God and see they co-relate or maybe where we get to fall further from him and his simple yet hard rules or laws.
